While watching Aaron Sorkin's fictitious new show The Kitchen, the power goes out once again in the Griffin family home. Remembering Peter's last story about Star Wars, the others ask if he has any other stories like it. He proceeds to retell the story of The Empire Strikes Back after his attempts to tell the story of Black Snake Moan are shot down by Stewie.The "opening crawl" goes into detail about how 20th Century Fox had so little faith in Star Wars that it allowed George Lucas to keep all merchandising rights, and purposefully wastes $58,000 on a computer-generated cartoon elephant, which dances across the screen mid-text. An Imperial Star Destroyer deploys probe droids to the far corners of the galaxy in search of the Rebel Alliance. One of the probe droids (Joe Swanson) lands on the ice planet Hoth, where the Rebels have set up a base. Rebel commander Luke Skywalker (Chris Griffin), is patrolling when he is attacked by a large Wampa (Cookie Monster). At the base, Han Solo (Peter Griffin), announces his intention to leave the Rebellion, much to Princess Leia's (Lois Griffin) chagrin. Upon learning that Luke has not yet returned, Han sets out on his Dondon to find him. After escaping Cookie Monster's lair Luke has a vision of his late mentor, Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi (Herbert), who offers him Zima soup and tells him to go to the Dagobah system to learn the ways of the Force from Jedi Master Yoda. Han finds Luke, and the two are rescued...
